How to Setup Snipe Lights on a Hockey Goal
Step 1: Slide the electronics into the back of the targets and screw in the big screw in the middle of the electronics completely.
Note 1: The big screw generally comes packaged together in the small bag with the USB Charging cable. The side with the on/off button should go in first (facing down).

Note 2: If it’s too difficult to slide in the electronics then loosen the screws around the frame, just a little, or try adding lubricant. If the electronics seem loose in the holder then tighten the screws around the frame.
Step 2: The targets come pre-assembled and ready to attach to your net right out of the box. On one end, the metal hooks are connected directly to the lace, while on the other end there’s a heavy duty rubber band in between the lace and the hooks. First attach the hook-only (no rubber band) side. One secure way to attach is by wrapping the hook around the goal post and latching it over the lace (as shown in the video).
Step 3: Attach the end with the rubber band directly to the net. Pull the net as much as possible to make it a tight fit. You can thread the rubber band through a hole in the net to secure it in place better. This isn’t shown in the video.
Note: Saggy targets do not look good and are not as much fun to play on as tight targets. When attaching the hook with a rubber band, pull the net tight. #nosaggytargets
Step 4: Attach the second set of 2 targets the same way as explained above.
Step 5: Turn on your targets using the power switch on the bottom of the electronics box.
Step 6: Turn on the app to connect with the app or play games without the app.
Transporting Snipe Lights
Packing up your Snipe Lights is like taping a stick; everyone has a different method. Here’s one we suggest, but if you have another way that works for you, go for it. Send over a video that shows your method.
Step 1: After taking off the goal, remove the electronics pack.
Step 2: Pull the laces so they’re taught. Only a little lace should hang from the front side, if any.

Step 3: Put the front of the targets facing each other and fully rotate one of the targets once,
so the laces cross over.
Step 4: Wrap the laces around the targets and latch the 2 hooks from the silicone straps onto the laces, so everything stays in place.
That’s it! Put the targets into the Snipe Lights carrying bag and off you go!

Step 3: This is the Game Menu. The lights on the targets will change to 4 different patterns:
Single Flashing Line
Single Solid Line
Double Flashing Lines
Double Solid Lines
Each pattern represents a different game mode. Tap a target to select that game mode. See below for details about each game mode.
Step 4: All targets flash red for 8 seconds before the game begins.
Non-App Game Modes:
Single Solid Line: One target lights up. Hit it and another target lights up. This goes on indefinitely. This simple game mode is intended for practice sessions and scrimmages since the game goes on indefinitely, until it’s stopped by the player. It’s a good alternative when a goalie isn’t available.
Single Flashing Line: A target lights up for 3 seconds and then flashes for 2 seconds. Another targets lights up when the first target starts flashing. The shooter can shoot for the target that’s lit or flashing. The point of flashing is simply to indicate to the shooter that it’s about to go off. This game mode is intended for individual practice, scrimmages, stick and puck, or team practices. It’s a good alternative when a goalie isn’t available.
Double Solid Lines: 2-player head to head mode. One player shoots for blue and the other player shoots for green. Whoever hits the most targets in 30 seconds is the winner. The winning color flashes when the game ends.
Double Flashing Lines: 2-player head to head mode. One player shoots for blue and the other player shoots for green. Game ends when a color gets hit 5 times. The winning color flashes when the game ends.
Note:
When playing any of the non-app games, if you want to return to the Games Menu (step 3 above) to restart the game or choose a different game, tap any of the targets that aren’t lit 4 times in rapid succession (2 seconds). The targets will flash red for a few seconds and return to the Game Menu.
